Since people keep requesting recipes quite often I’ll start posting them more often.
Here’s one good green smoothie recipe, again from
- 2 mangoes
- 2 pears
- 2 big handfuls of mixed baby greens
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Blend and enjoy.

Seppo, i really believe in ur smoothie recipes, but my blender broke down
aww.. lazy to get it replaced. And, i love this recipe! my fav blueberries~ would it be better if we’d eaten it without blending? Like, fresh fruits beat breaking down its structures or something. please advise

Gladys,
“Like, fresh fruits beat breaking down its structures or something”
Well, you are going to have to break it up anyway. You do chew your food – don’t you?
The blender just does the chewing for you.
Sure during blending the fruits come in contact with oxygen and that results in some loss of vitamins. But that’s a minor issue and nothing to worry about.
So blending fruits is more or less the same as eating them whole.

Depends if you have to add water to get the consistency you want, but it should make about a liter.
